Parking at KLIA2 (KLIA Terminal 2) – which car park to choose
KLIA2 is KLIA’s low-cost carrier terminal in Sepang, home to AirAsia and other budget flights, connected to the Gateway@klia2 mall. As with the main terminal, the car park you pick makes a big difference to the cost.
- Gateway@klia2 (short-term) – multi-level car parks linked to the terminal through the mall. Best for pickups and short stays: RM6 the first hour, stepping down to RM2, capped at RM55/day for the first few days (and much less on longer stays).
- Long-Term Car Park (LTCP) – a free shuttle runs to the terminal; capped at RM32/day, cheaper than the short-term car park for multi-day trips.
Ways to pay less
- Flying for more than a day? The LTCP + shuttle (max RM32/day) beats the short-term car park (RM55/day for the first few days).
- Cheaper still: park at Salak Tinggi Park & Ride and take KLIA Transit to KLIA2.
